Uniform
We currently have have two styles of uniform as the school has recently changed from Wolverley High School to Wolverley C E Secondary School, and students who were with us previously can continue to wear the old design.
The new uniform consists of black blazer with the new school logo, white shirt with the new black school tie, black trousers and black shoes.
The school believes that a smart appearance leads to a smarter attitude and so there are a number of rules concerning the wearing of uniform to make sure everyone looks smart.
Students are required to take off hats on entry to any building.
When entering the classroom, coats, scarves and gloves must be removed. In situations where students do not have to queue in the cold, they should remove coats when lining up to save time.
Only a v neck navy or black jumper should be under the blazer and no coloured t-shirt showing through the shirt.
As there is nothing to put your coat round in the Dining Hall coats (but not hats/gloves/scarves) can be worn. Coats may only be worn over the blazer and not as an alternative.
C3s will be issued to students who are missing any part of their uniform. If the item is missing a second time, the student will be sent home to get it or a parent must bring it in.
C3s will also be given for inappropriate dress such as ties down, fashion shorts or skirts, backless shoes, trainers or sandals.
Certain non uniform items may be confiscated, such as designer jackets, sweatshirts and hoodies worn under blazers or in the building. Belts, caps, visible jewellery, piercings, mp3 players and mobile phones used inappropriately will also be confiscated. Students will only be able to collect confiscated items at the end of the school day. If an item is confiscated for a second day, parents / carers will be requested to collect them.
The school also has a standard PE Kit which is to be worn when taking part in sporting activities. To order items of PE kit please download an order form
